Welcome

to the Bassingbourn Village College website.

This is an excellent school; there is a strong positive ethos, where all students are known as individuals and achieve some fantastic qualifications. We are all very proud of our school and the educational opportunities that it provides for our wonderful students.

While we are not able to offer a full Open Evening this year we are delighted to be offering Year 6 parents the opportunity to come and visit in a selection of Open Mornings to tour our school. Full details of this can be found on our website. https://www.bassingbournvc.net/open-event/

From next week we will be running a Year 11 Maths clinic on a Wednesday lunchtime. This will be an opportunity for our Year 11s to study in quiet with the Maths teachers on hand to answer any questions they may have.

In mentor time we are looking at Atonement and using West German Chancellor, Will Brandt laying of a wreath at the Monument of the Ghetto Heroes in Poland in 1970 to discuss if any act can be atoned for.
